A group of about 15 youths from Beerwah and the surrounding towns met on wednesday at BADYAC (alongside the Beerwah skate park) for a BBQ at 3:30 followed by the to discussion and planning of three Separate Youth Events to be held in Beerwah during September and October this year.
The initial introduction went well with Tom Turner from the Sunshine Coast Council introducing the idea to everyone present. After brief brainstorming session a number of exacting ideas suggestions were put forward by youths present
Posters from previous events were on display and the types of obstacles involved with organizing event like this were discussed.
The Youth Partnership is looking for people who are willing to be involved with ideas about the event, planning, emailing and contacting local business so if you’re between 14 -25 years old and would like to gain event management skills why not consider attending then next meeting which is planed for 3:30pm on Wednesday the 15th August at BADYC

The Sunshine Coast Youth Partnership is currently planning a series of events for Beerwah Youth aged 14 to 25 years.
