A series of questions have been released for the Caloundra and Hinterland communities to have their say on the long-term future of the State. Member for Caloundra Mark McArdle will host two information sessions in Caloundra and Beerwah on Friday 28th June to ensure community members can contribute to The Queensland Plan.
‘’It is now our opportunity as a community to work together and make sure that Caloundra is well represented,’’ Mr McArdle said.
‘’I was extremely proud to bring along representatives from the Caloundra electorate to the Mackay Summit and now I want the whole community to have its say on the state’s future.
‘’The Queensland Plan is a plan for Queenslanders, by Queenslanders. It is the first of its kind in scope and scale for our state, and will provide a 30 year vision for Queensland.
‘’Over the coming weeks I will be asking for community members to complete a survey as well as hosting the two information sessions where we will be discussing the six questions and putting forth the Caloundra electorate’s view.’’
If you would like to come along please RSVP to my office on (07) 5491 2780 or email Caloundra@parliament.qld.gov.au or to find out more about how you can get involved in The Queensland Plan, visit http://www.qld.gov.au/queenslandplan.
