Got a great idea for social or environmental change? Or keen to help make people’s ideas a reality?
SpeedSeed is a speed-dating inspired event that brings together people who are ready to kick start a community project or a social enterprise and people who wish to make a difference through ethical giving, which includes the contribution of time, expertise and resources.
Registrations are now open for the SpeedSeed event to be held in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in July 2015. We are currently looking for:
1.Change-makers: individuals or community groups with project ideas or start-up social/environmental enterprises that align with one or more of these values:
- Respect ourselves, others and future generations
- Replenish the Earth
- Give more than we take
- Commit to the global goodness
- Listen actively and learn from other cultures
2.Change-maker investors ready to co-create social and environmental change by supporting good, ethical, grassroots projects and enterprises. Anyone can be an investor, even if you have just a few hundred dollars, or volunteer hours, or skills to share, or goods or services to spare, that can make a difference to getting a worthwhile project or enterprise off the ground.
If you would like to participate in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone Helen Wilkinson on 0410 057 315 to obtain an application form. Applications are due 12 June 2015. Pre-event InfoWorkshops will be held in late June for potential participants. Visit our website www.speedseed.com.au for more information.
