Come and Chat with us about establishing our Community Garden at Beerwah. We already have the ‘bones’ here – beds, a building, a shed, water, insurance, ideas and money, but as we all know the most valuable resource will be the people of Beerwah, so come and join us for chat on how to establish your new Community Garden at Beerwah with award winning, accredited permaculture and organic gardening teacher teacher Elisabeth Fekonia next Saturday 1 November at 1.30pm for an inspiring workshop on how we might go about this.
Elisabeth was president at the successful Yandina Community Garden for a number of years and helped to get it started. She is currently president of Permaculture Noosa. We will provide homemade afternoon tea and do some light gardening after the talk. To all members of the community, come and join us for your opinions on how to make your community garden work for you.
A presentation on existing community gardens on the Sunshine Coast will be shown to have some ideas of how you might like to implement yours and a Free homemade afternoon tea will be provided.
