Don’t miss the Glasshouse Country Festival (18-27 October 2013)!
Celebrate the unique arts, culture, heritage and environment of Glasshouse Country. Immerse yourself amongst the vibrant, community atmosphere over ten days of activities spanning from Beerburrum to Glenview and across to the foothills of the Blackall Range.
There is something for everyone ranging from live music and cultural performances to art exhibitions, markets, a recycling tour, guided bushwalks around the Glass House Mountains and a hangi feast at Beerburrum. The past will be brought to life with Ned Kelly and William Landsborough causing havoc on the steam train, mysteries revealed on ghost tours at Peachester and pioneering themed fun at Mooloolah’s 150th anniversary.
For the sporty there will be a skate comp, junior triathlon, Wannabe Deadly touch footy match and an Aussie vs Kiwi Rugby League game at Beerwah plus a fishing comp, kyacking and BMX riding. Don’t miss all this and more!
Most events are free.
Tickets for the steam train will be available at the Glass House Mountains Visitor and Interpretive Centre from 27th September.
