Crowds flocked for a vibrant day of fun at the Mooloolah Family Fun Day, held last Sunday at the Mooloolah Community Centre. The event was jam packed with market stalls, rides, food, kid’s entertainment, games, live music, council plant giveaways and second hand wares.
Kids had a ball with the free rides all day, including 2 big jumping castles, a giant slide, teacup ride, rock wall, animal farm and pony rides. Colourful faces filled the area with the face and body painters. Tummies were satisfied with real coffee, smoothies, homemade cakes, fairy floss, hot lunches and popcorn.
All were entertained with performers ranging from Sparkles the clown, Scouts, African Drumming workshops, Mooloolah Community Centre Op Shop Fashion Parade, Mooloolah and Glenview State Schools and local musicians, Pete Foerster, Ben Van Noordenan and Rose Palmer.
The Mooloolah Community Centre would like to particularly thank Whites IGA, Sunshine Coast Council and event coordinators Renee Grant and Sonia Clark for their generous support.
A big thankyou also goes to the event sponsors: Australia Zoo, Aussie World, Bellingham Maze, Mooloolah Dental Surgeons, Mooloolah Valley Pharmacy, Mooloolah Post Office, BP Glenview, Mooloolah Stockfeed, Mooloolah Hair Studio, Mooloolah Beauty Spot, Mooloolah Shearing Shed, Our Shoes, Seafood and Burger Bar Mooloolah, Mooloolah Chinese Takeaway, Thunderbird Café, Network Video Mooloolah, Mooloolah Hardware, Aussie World Bottleshop, Go Green Nursery, Mooloolah Waterwatch and Landcare and Gallery of Red Earth.
