Meet the Shopkeeper: Maulik and Manisha from Bombay Bliss

October 30, 2014 by Glasshouse Country 17 Comments

Meet Maulik and Manisha who opened Bombay Bliss in Beerwah on the 11th of November 2011 (11/11/11) and together they continue to please gourmet diners with the exotic and flavoursome tastes of Southern India. Not only have they successfully tantalised locals and tourists with their aromatic flavours but the cost of an evening out at Bombay Bliss is pocket friendly and entertaining.

Maulik and Manisha Bombay Bliss Beerwah 2014

Maulik and Manisha opened Bombay Bliss in Beerwah on the 11th of November 2011 (11/11/11)

They are excited to be opening another shop in the region and as they explained to me, “Beerwah is a small little town that is getting bigger, with a a lot of new development being done. Both we and other locals are clearly very excited because we don’t have to travel far to do our shopping and dining”.

“Our most common food is mild butter chicken but we also offer mild medium and hot, as well as different types of spicy and aramaic curry with local people becoming more willing to try these exciting blends of curry”.

Have to say that we ate there once and are not likely to go again. We should have known when the waitress asked if we would like a vindaloo dish mild, medium or hot! The food was very average.
