Glass House Women’s Social Group

September 10, 2012 by Glasshouse Country Leave a Comment

The Glass House Women’s Social Group recently formed for local women to share friendships and wellbeing. This fun group of women of all ages meet every second and fourth Wednesday of the month between 1-3pm at the Glass House Neighbourhood Centre.

This group was formed out of recognising needs raised by local women, explained Community Development Worker for the Hinterland Community Development Association, Natasha Odgers.

“The activities held are driven by the interests of those in the group. Overall the group aims to fill a space in local women’s lives through new friendships, fun, thought-provoking sessions, nurturing activities and opportunities to share interests and talents. This is a group for all women, whether their life is full of beans or needs a bit of a top up,” Natasha said.

The next event will be Wednesday 26th September with fun and laughs around board games and cards, followed by afternoon tea.

So women, what are you waiting for? Treat yourself at the launch of the Glass House Women’s Social Group at the Neighbourhood Centre, Lot 4 Ryan Street, Glass House Mountains. Bring a plate to share.

To book, contact the Glass House Neighbourhood Centre on 5438 7000 or email
