Learn more about Matthew Flinders Anglican College…

The Sunshine Coast is a most popular holiday destination for local Australians and is now extremely popular with visitors from all around the world as they discover the natural unspoiled beauty of its tropical rain forests, miles of white sandy beaches, holiday resorts, scenic tours and a myriad of other local attractions. Eco-tourists will find many unspoiled locations with native flora and fauna existing as nature intended. Australia Zoo the home of the Crocodile Hunter, is a twenty minute drive from the coastal strip. While the Noosa Everglades can be explored by boat and road tours.

Boasting a total population of around 200,000 the region is divided into three distinct areas, Noosa in the North, Maroochy in the middle and Caloundra at the Southern end. The Sunshine Coast stretches for some 50 Km from end to end with major tourism areas mainly on the narrow coastal strip, and on the Blackall Ranges. Although most are aware of the Noosa region long regarded as the playground of the rich and famous, the entire Sunshine Coast contains a complete range of attractions and accommodation facilities from 5 star to Backpacker.
