Meet Honorary Locals: Milan and Himanshu – Euro Solar Salesmen

September 28, 2014 by Glasshouse Country 1 Comment

Milan and Himanshu have  been visiting me since February, and have finally convinced me to sign up to Solar Energy. I don’t rush into things, especially when it involves money, however my last electricity bill was $841.39 and my four previous bills were roughly the same. (I’m with Origin Energy at present).

Anyone who drives past my home knows it’s lit like a cruise ship on the ocean,  mostly because asking my family to turn off lights, is not something  most Dads’ want to be remembered for.

Milan and Himanshu work full time in the Solar industry, and I felt they deserve to be represented on the Glasshouse Country Website  as ‘honorary locals’ because of their kindly manner and friendly persistence and gentle persuasion  There was no pressure although they have visited me regularly since February 2014.

As best I can tell Eurosolar offer great warranty and I understand that the installation process is very quick and painless, I’ve asked for an 8kw inverter so it may take a little longer to get approval from Energex. After finally making the decision it took me about 5 minutes to get financial approval, wheew … and apparently the whole thing will save me money, I expect it to cost less than I’m paying currently.  ( I really hope that’s true).

Milan explained that the trend to use a smaller installer has hurt some consumers, who have been left stranded when the preferred supply has closed down. Eurosolar on the other hand has been expanding in Australia since 2007 and is one of the biggest and longest running solar companies in Australia.

I called a couple of people myself in Beerwah and Landsborough who have used EuroSolar and they confirmed to me that they were happy with what was installed by Eurosolar.

It’s no good having warranty if either the retailer or manufacturer isn’t around to honour the warranty but based on my research of Euro Solar –  I’m happy with my choice.

I’m probably one of the last people in Beerwah to move over to Solar, but as the maxim goes  “better late than never”.
