Thoughts: Relaxing at Mrs Browns in Beerwah

February 24, 2016 by Glasshouse Country 6 Comments

Mrs Browns (the one nearest Target) is a relaxing venue on a Friday evening and lets be honest, who doesn’t enjoy spending time with friends and family and eating out?

I spent last Friday evening sharing a delightful birthday dinner at Mrs Browns with a few good friends who chose to celebrate at Mrs Browns and I came away thinking that at last Beerwah has a few choices where I can go on Friday evening and enjoy good company, decent music in a family friendly environment, and where I won’t have my wallet plundered.

I think Mrs Browns offers a lesson in adaptability to any business operating in Beerwah, a little panache, a friendly smile, a happy team, an investment in the community and a good reputation go a very long way.

Currently my list of good, friendly, and affordably places to eat in Beerwah on a Friday evening with a bit of music comprises of Mrs Browns and Vianta. (if you know of better please do share with us).

Footnote: I would include the Beerwah Hotel, if I didn’t have to listen to the jinkle of those god aweful pokie machines or if I didn’t have to eat my meal staring into a flickering / distracting television screen in each corner of every room.

This article is a result of thoughtful discussion with a friend as we drove to Ewan Maddock Lake for a swim and a run. We were talking about the lovely evening we had shared with our friends at Mrs  Browns when he commented suddenly “I hope she doesn’t go out of business, the same meal would have cost twice as much at the local hotel.”
