Meet a Local: Brendan Roser from the Beerwah Swimming Pool

September 16, 2014 by Glasshouse Country 12 Comments

It’s because of Brendan Roser that the Beerwah Swimming Pool remains one of Beerwah’s best managed Public Services and has such a friendly and efficient feel to it.

Brendan is always helping patrons and is well liked by everyone in the Glasshouse Country Community and if you have ever spent a little time at the pool you will know that Brendan is not only popular but in demand from from the early morning when he opens for individual and squad training until the end of the day when he locks up after the evening session of squad training.

Brendan Roser from Beerwah Swimming Pool

It’s a special thing when someone like Brendan knows the names of 25% of all the school students who travel from the 10 surrounding schools to use the Beerwah Pool for swimming lessons and Swim Carnivals.

Brendan is amazing and you can clearly see his passion in the way he treats everyone, from the babies learning to swim at a very tender age right up to the elderly who frequent the Beerwah Swimming Pool

The local schools use the Pool extensively during the week days, and again after school you will see Brendan and his team taking care of after school swimming lessons, and if that weren’t enough he often stays late coaching the after work crowd of Squad Trainers.

It is not everyday that you will see a Pool Manager like Brendan who is easily recognised for all these qualities and can still remains firm, fair and fun.

Brendan gives due credit to his lovely wife Alison and to the young team who work with him.

Brendan has an amazing gift when it comes to coaching children. Absolute value for money, I wouldn’t take my children anywhere else on the coast.

You can look far and wide but you won’t find someone who the kids love and respect more than Brenden. Our community is very lucky to have him.

Brendan’s passion and enthusiasm for teaching kids is amazing. As well as learning to swim, the kids find swimming fun and rewarding with Brendan.
