Beerwah Village Opening Soon

September 26, 2014 by Glasshouse Country 19 Comments

Everyone in Beerwah knows that the Beerwah Village will be opening soon and to be honest it looks very impressive,  so one can’t help but look forward in expectation to how this new Shopping Village will improve our Community.

Beerwah is, as planned by Council, becoming the business hub and activity centre of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland as set down in State Government Planning. Together with easy access to Brisbane and the beach, a train service, convenient shopping and recreational facilities, this community is set for continued growth.

In addition to the already successful Beerwah Marketplace, Beerwah Village creates an opportunity to lease retail space in one of Australia’s fastest growing areas.

The existing Beerwah Marketplace, which opened in November 2002, incorporates 5,165 sqm of floor space and is anchored by a very strong 3,059 sqm Woolworths. The centre includes a Caltex/Woolworths petrol station plus 16 specialty retailers with an established strong trading history.

On completion, the expanded centre will incorporate 11,000 sqm of floor space and will be anchored by the existing Woolworths Supermarket and Caltex/Woolworths petrol station, plus a full line IGA Supermarket, Target and around 41 specialty retailers with 448 “on grade” car parks.

As at September 2014, the Beerwah Marketplace is home to Woolworths, Caltex Woolworths, CBA, BOQ, Westpac, Dominos Pizza, Discounter, Soul Pattinson Chemist, Specsavers, Newsagent, Fashion, Eateries, Butcher, Jeweller and Bottle Shop.

The new Beerwah Village extensions will be home to Target, IGA and approximately 25 specialty shops.

I have had a lot of interest in “Letters to the Editor”, if this interests you please email roland@glasshousecountry.com – WHAT IS A LETTER TO THE EDITOR? You feel strongly about an issue, and you want to let people know what you think. You believe you can even influence people to take some action if you speak your mind. But, you want to reach an audience larger than just your friends or your group membership. Letters to the editor can be an effective way to get the word out. roland@glasshousecountry.com or MESSAGE Me. 🙂 Roland

There’s a few incorrect assumptions in this post but…donut king and brumbies are taking over bakery/Smileys shops, from what one heard from management there is coffee club, possibly reject shop, sushi bar, Millers clothing and of course Target Country & IGA. There are many shops awaiting leases.

Thank you Renee Guthrie – so then from what I understand we should at lest expect the following shops:

      Millers Clothing
      Sushi Bar
Reject Shop (some say Dollar Max)
      Coffee
      Donut King
      Brumbies
      Target Country
      IGA
