Mark Tweddle Music Teacher in Glasshouse

Mark Tweddle Music TeacherI offer the Glasshouse community a revolutionary, Australian developed, playing-based approach to learning the piano. In August 2008 I completed extensive training in Australia and the United States to become a licensed Simply Music teacher (www.simplymusic.com).

For those interested in knowing more about this unique method, I offer Free Introductory Sessions at my home based studio in the Glasshouse Mountains Township.

Mark can be contacted on 0447 819816

I have been teaching Simply Music for almost 6 years in Brisbane and the results still continue to amaze me. Students of all ages and capabilities are playing a multitude of songs, a mix of musical genres, they are confident at the piano and there is not a single piece of sheet music in sight.

Now I live in the Glasshouse community I would like continue teaching this wonderful method and share my passion for the piano with the locals.

About Mark

Born of a Jazz piano playing father, Mark had a passion for piano from an early age. He took traditional lessons and studied theory for many years in London, England. Mark had been teaching the traditional way until he discovered Simply Music in 2007 and discovered a new approach to music education that he felt could make an enormous contribution to his students.

Mark can be contacted on 0447 819816.

About Simply Music

Simply Music is the largest playing-based music education institution in the world. It presents a piano learning method that looks at music in a totally new light, and pioneers a new direction in music education. Its revolutionary approach profoundly differs from the more common, traditional” reading-based” methods.

Created by Neil Moore, Simply Music first translates entire pieces into simple shapes and patterns that students can clearly see and easily play on the keyboard. Students quickly build an extensive repertoire of various musical styles before learning to read notes.

Simply Music has a network of Licensed Educators at around 600 locations I the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. For more information visit: http://www.simplymusic.com
