Photos: Christmas Lights Maroochydore at Lifepointe Baptist Church 2014

December 24, 2014 by Glasshouse Country Leave a Comment

The Christmas Lights Maroochydore is amazing, I wish I had posted this earlier, but there is still time for the last show tonight.  Overall its a fun night out, and its is the Sunshine Coast’s largest free Christmas event, plus it’s the 10th anniversary so they’re sure to make it extra special a well worth seeing.

Tonight is the last night and its been on since about the 13th December till 24th December 2014  – My family thoroughly enjoyed it,  you can park at Immanuel Lutheran School, Buderim about 1km from the Lifepointe Baptist Church, and shuttle buses ferry you in and out from the event.  the show is free and simple meals and snacks are affordable,  with free fairy floss, facepaint and and raft of other fun activities.

Just one moment of  roller coaster fun show, celebrating the reason for the season.

So many memories thinking back over these past years of Christmas lights, what do I remember?….. What I remember most, year after year is the delight on childrens’ faces as they arrive with mums and dads or grandparents, trying to take in the sight of the lights, the animals, the music and theatre, the characters, fairyfloss and balloons. Their sense of joy and excitement is so precious. The season of the year seems to bring the best out in people and there is always so much laughter and goodwill. Beyond that, I love the fact that we are able to re-tell the true Christmas story and offer people the opportunity to explore what the Christian faith is all about through ‘Alpha’ courses we run each year.  – WARREN & CHERYL – BUDERIM, QLD

Did I mention that you can get some fun family photos for only $10 – great value and fun. 🙂

The entrance, you can see it from the motorway. – There is way more than this once in there.  It’s A Christmas production that combines storylines about Christmas, with music and dance and everything from rock anthems to age-old carols which is drawing thousands each night. – the 24th December is the last night for 2014.
