Background Information about the Healthy Guru: We have owned a holistic B&B retreat ‘Twin Flames Retreat’ on Bribie Island for a number of years. We wished to expand the B & B retreat concept by providing a wellness clinic based on our interests and professional expertise, We were drawn to the idea of opening a highly visible shop which catered to Community need and offered a “one stop wellness centre and felt were strongly drawn to the Beerwah area though their love of the mountains and rapidly emerging community development potential. The area has a lot of young families and one of the key aspects of the shop is to be available for people to pop in, talk and to get answers that relate to their health and wellbeing. Our idea gradually unfolded and evolved as a health food shop with two private clinics named The Healthy Guru, which is you?

Our philosophy is to share with you the products and therapeutic techniques that you can utilise to assist in nourishing your mind, body and soul. Helping you to be your own Guru ( G U R U ) and our aim was to establish a business that constantly identifies and responds well to local community needs. This is reflected in the choice of practitioners, classes and products stocked that we offer. We feel that there are many ways to find health and wellness of your body mind and soul. So whether your health needs be for training in a triathlon, catering for the wellness of your family or assisting in overcoming allergies and disease we at the healthy guru are confident that the products and services we can assist you with, will have you well on the way to reaching your goals.

Many people have taken advantage of the practitioner services and products offered. Every staff member at the Healthy Guru is a qualified therapist specialising in specific modalities. When you visit the Healthy Guru, the staff will individually tailor products and treatments if required to specifically suit your condition. Qualified Naturopaths, Leanda and Judy will individually create liquid herbs tinctures, dry herbs and aromatherapy products from the recently introduced herbal dispensary, to best suit customer’s needs. In our business the highly qualified and experienced staff genuinely care about your health and will do everything possible to assist your wellbeing.
