The Live Music Scene in the Glasshouse Mountains is growing. There are an increasing number of events and venues for Musicians to choose from. People need Music, Live Music needs Venues, and Venues need People.

I try to support the Arts Music on this page.

The Glasshouse Country Muso Club

This is a active group which meets every fortnight, historically they started out alternating between two venues, the Glasshouse Sport Club, and Beerwah RS, more recently they meed each fortnight at the Glasshouse Sports Club and at the Tea Room.

Mooloolah Performing or Art out

This group meets every couple of months,

The UpFront Club

This Venue is in Maleny and has for a long time offered the community live Music, they have an open Mic on Monday evenings.

Music and Open Mic Nights on the Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast is bursting with talent and ablaze with venues and outlets for local music.

Every Performer needs a venue, and many artists know and understand how hard it is to get your first “lucky break”, and perhaps even your first appearance on stage,  We have put together a list of locations and “music friendly venues o”n the Coast an in the Hinterland where musician might more easily get their “foot in the door” an make an appearance

Sunshine Coasts got Young Talent

Debbie Parsons is a lovely lady who is doing a fantastic job supporting our young up an coming Musicians on the Sunshine Coast, Debbie has but together a evening on almost any week of the month when young talent can gather at a venue and perform live in an “Open Mic” environment.

Debbie host and manages “Sunshine Coast Got Young Talent” at three different venues on the Sunshine Coast. These are Family events designed to give children and students an opportunity and perform to a very welcoming audience. Each performer (act) receives a free meal.

Sunshine Coast’s got Young Talent

  • Caloundra Surf Club, Kings Beach. (last WED of each month)
  • Cafe Le Monde, Hastings St, Noosa. (second MON of each month)
  • Surf Bar and Grill, Maroochydore Plaza (first WED of each month)

From 6.30pm. –  Each performer (act) receives a free meal, probably a good idea to be on time so that you can get your name placed on the board.

Up until quite recently circa 2013 it has been difficult your young or new performers to make a start on the Sunshine Coast, we now have some great local website supporting Local Music on the Sunshine Coast
