Meet the Shopkeeper: Jody and Ken Bannister from Kwerky Cafe in Beerwah

October 16, 2014 by Glasshouse Country 14 Comments

The Glasshouse Country is a better place because of people like Jody and Ken Bannister who yesterday opened the doors to their newly established Kwerky Cafe in Simpson Street in Beerwah yesterday the 15th October 2014. Kwerky Cafe offer a unique blend of carefully selected coffee blends and cake as well as a wider range of gelato, they also have alfresco tables and chairs conveniently located on the sidewalk.

Message from Ken and Jody: We would like to thank all our new customers that made our first day of trade so awesome. Our gelato was a hit with everyone who tried it and Joey is thrilled to be back behind the coffee machine. We would like to invite everyone to come and visit Kwerky cafe and try our personalised blend of Arabica beans that have been roasted on the coast, this month we also offer a Single Origin bean from Guatemala. It will change each month for a different origin. Our Cakes are sourced locally and we have gluten free options available.
